I am a lifelong learner. I believe that every individual has the ability to develop his or her leadership practice beginning at a very young age. As Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts Heart of Central California, I have the opportunity to help countless staff, volunteers and Girl Scouts themselves to creatively take the lead in their own lives. While guiding the way, I find that I’m fulfilling my purpose to lead and inspire others.
I hold a doctorate in leadership from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, and I’ve dedicated my career to creating opportunities for young people to learn and lead through programs in education, community service and the arts.
Developing the leadership of others is more than my vocation; it is my avocation.
